"Almost perfect, just one thing missing"
As someone who always checks my order right away, I noticed there was only one item missing. Everything else was fine, so it wasn’t a huge issue, but it was a little disappointing.

"Cozy spot, just a little hectic"
I’d heard this place had a really friendly, relaxed vibe, and that’s pretty much what I noticed as soon as I walked in. It felt warm and welcoming, and the staff came across super chilled. The only thing is it does get a bit crowded around the counter, but I kind of expected that with a popular little shop. Overall, it matched the good things I’d heard.

"Packaging was spot on"
I ordered a few bits everything turned up packed really well. I was fully expecting at least one squashed cake or a leak somewhere, but that’s probably just me blaming past deliveries for making me paranoid. The box was neat, easy to open, and everything inside was in perfect shape

"Pretty big portions for the money"
I always leave full after lunch here, so I feel like the portions are definitely worth the price. I mean, if I can’t finish it sometimes, that basically means it’s a good deal, right?

"Popped in for lunch it was…"
Popped in for lunch it was just a really nice little stop. The sandwich tasted super fresh, the bread was soft, and the fillings were really good. The cakes looked fresh too, which was a nice bonus. No complaints from me at all

"Good value when you need a filling lunch"
I always feel like Wenzels is a good shout, especially at lunchtime. The food fills you up, and because it doesn’t cost too much, it feels like good value. I’ve never had any major problems there, so I’m happy to keep going back...

I’ve ordered from Wenzels a few times now, and one thing I really appreciate is how straightforward the allergen info is on their site. It’s not buried somewhere or written in a confusing way, which makes checking before ordering so much less stressful.
I have to watch out for certain ingredients, so this kind of thing matters a lot to me. Having to guess or dig around for basic allergen details feels totally avoidable, but I didn’t have that issue here. Everything was easy to find, and I’d happily order again.

"Suspiciously efficient queue, honestly"
I popped into Wenzel’s at lunch and the queue looked massive, so I was fully expecting to be trapped there for ages. But somehow it moved way quicker than it had any right to. The staff clearly had some kind of system going on, because they kept calling people up fast like they’d cracked the code. Only odd bit was near the door, where everyone seemed unsure where the actual line was meant to be. Bit of organized chaos, maybe by design, who knows. Still, I didn’t wait long at all, so I can’t really complain

"Always a good little treat"
I’ve popped into Wenzels a few times now and, honestly... the cakes and pastries have always been fresh and really tasty. I’m especially a fan of the sausage rolls too — they’re proper nice and not dry like you get in some places. Prices seem fair, and the quality’s been consistent every time I’ve been in.

I’ve ordered from Wenzels a few times now, and I’m relieved it’s been dependable. Delivery has mostly been on time, and even the one order that showed up a bit later than expected was still fine when it arrived. No major issues, and I’d happily order again tbh.

"Really handy opening hours"
I might be giving too much credit for something as simple as opening early, but it does make a difference. Wenzels is one of the few places near me where I can grab a coffee and something to eat before work without having to plan it all out.
It’s useful on weekends too when I’m already out and about. Maybe I’m just easily pleased, but it’s nice having somewhere simple and convenient that I don’t really have to think twice about

"A Little Bright Spot in My Day"

"Clean Place, But Those Tables!"
The place looked clean overall, which was nice, but the tables definitely could’ve used a wipe down. Like, I wasn’t horrified or anything, but I did have a tiny dramatic moment debating whether to sit there or not. A quick clean would’ve made a huge difference.

"Click and collect was so easy"
I tried Wenzel’s click and collect for the first time and, it was really handy.
I ordered on the website, picked my local shop, and it was ready when I got there. I was going to say there was barely any fuss, actually, there was no fuss at all. No waiting around or trying to choose something in a rush.
The staff were friendly and everything in the order was right. I’ll definitely use it again when I’m grabbing lunch or picking up a few bits for the family.

"I pop into Wenzels quite a bit…"
I pop into Wenzels quite a bit and they usually have what I’m after, especially the sandwiches and cakes. The only thing is, my usual roll has been sold out by lunchtime a few times, which is frustrating because once I’ve got my mind set on it, picking something else feels like a bit of a downgrade. There are normally enough options to not leave empty-handed, but I’d rather not risk missing out, so I try to go earlier now. Overall, good.
